In 2011, Hermès literally suspended time with its unique and exclusive complication – Time Suspended – that allowed watch owners to stop the time on the dial whenever they wanted. The maiden watch with this complication featured a pusher at 9 o’clock, which when pushed, would station the hour and minute hands, unmoving, around 12 o’clock. However, the movement underneath would continue running, and when the pusher was again activated, the time would be displayed correctly.
This year at Watches and Wonders 2025, the luxury brand redesigned this complication in its new launches – Arceau Le Temps Suspendu and Hermès Cut Le Temps Suspendu.
